WWS Code of ethics

code of ethics
We at WWS believe that integrity is the foundation on which everything else is built. It’s the cornerstone of our culture, our business practices, and the way we do things at WWS. Our Code of Ethics is designed to help you understand how your actions can impact our company’s reputation and your personal career growth.

As a WWS employee, you have the opportunity to be part of something bigger than yourself—to make an impact on a global scale by helping our clients build better businesses through process/innovation and technology. But it’s more than just an opportunity—it’s a responsibility! You owe it to yourself and your fellow employees to uphold the highest integrity standards in all you do.

Our Code of Ethics outlines five principles that serve as guidelines for how we conduct ourselves both inside and outside of work.

Trust Is Earned;
We Do The Right Thing, The Right Way;
We Respect People And The Environment;
We Live Up To Our Responsibilities;
Living By A Clear Set Of Values, Ethics, And Standards

Trust is earned

Keep up with the daily interactions with each other and the community.
We will treat one another with respect, integrity, and honesty.
We will be open and accountable in all our dealings with each other and the wider community.
We will operate in good faith at all times and will strive to ensure that we always act fairly and honestly towards everyone involved in any situation.
We will ensure that all decisions taken by us are based on sound judgment, fairness, and transparency so that they are seen to be fair to all concerned

Trust is earned; - We do not take shortcuts or cut corners in order to get ahead. We stand by our word and hold ourselves accountable for our actions.

The importance of becoming and staying reliable —We are honest with ourselves and others, always keeping the needs of our customers, colleagues, and community in mind.

We act with integrity—We treat everyone fairly and equally, regardless of race, gender identity, sexual orientation, age or disability status.

We are accountable for our actions—We recognize our role in creating a safe and inclusive workplace where everyone feels heard and valued, regardless of their background or beliefs..

We foster an environment of respect—We support one another through encouragement, honest feedback and active listening when appropriate (without being judgmental).

Respect Self, Others And The Environment

Respect Self, Others And The Environment
We at WWS are incredibly fortunate to share a sound mission. We respect people, the environment, and each other
Our employees are the driving force behind our success, and we are committed to providing them with a safe, fair and healthy work environment in which they can thrive. We endeavor to create a culture of respect, accountability and transparency where all employees feel empowered to contribute their best ideas.
At WWS, we're a close-knit community with a shared vision of a better future. When things get tough, we pull together as one team.
Sure, we may experience disagreements in our daily work activities, but the ability and commitment to come together and give our all for our communities and coworkers is what makes WWS such a great place to work.
We are committed to creating a culture of respect, accountability, and transparency where all employees feel empowered to contribute their best ideas.
We all play an important role in the success of WWS, and we want to make sure that everyone feels valued and appreciated for their efforts.

We Live Up To Our Responsibilities;

We live up to our responsibilities by:
Following the law and regulations, including those related to privacy and data protection.
Acting with integrity. We do what we say we will do, when we say we will do it and in a way that is consistent with our values.
Treating others fairly and with respect. We are inclusive, open-minded and fair in our dealings with people from all backgrounds, cultures and perspectives.
Being honest in all of our communications. We are direct and transparent when communicating with others; we avoid manipulating or deceiving others; we do not exaggerate or make false claims to gain advantage; we do not use information gained through our position improperly; and if there is ever a conflict between what someone has told us and what they have told someone else about the same matter (for example, an internal discussion), we deal with the conflict directly.
responsibilities
At WWS we believe that our core values and ethics are global and consistent. We recognize that some business cultures have practices that may violate our core values and ethics, such that upholding them may be uncomfortable, even challenging. Doing the right thing often requires courage. Saying no to these practices does not mean we disrespect those cultures.
Understand and follow client codes of conduct where applicable
We Live Up To Our Responsibilities
It’s also our responsibility to understand a client’s code of conduct in addition to following our own Code of Business Ethics. There may be restrictions on, for example, gifts, entertainment and physical security that are more limiting than our own, and if so, we follow them in connection with the client engagement.
When compliance is not possible, we discuss with the client. A client’s code of conduct may appear to contradict our Code of Business Ethics—for example, it may include requirements we cannot follow (because of practical limitations on how we do business) or provisions that do not apply to us.
When faced with such situations, we will discuss with the client as appropriate and seek to comply with the spirit or key principles of its code while always following our own Code of Business Ethics.

Living by a clear set of values, ethics, and standards

Living by a clear set of values, ethics, and standards is essential for creating an organizational culture that is aligned with the company's goals. It also helps WWS to have a good reputation.
Every individual has a set of values that they live by. When we speak of ethical values, we are referring to a set of specific principles that guide us toward the right behaviors and decisions.
Having a culture where ethics and values are deeply ingrained is vital to the WWS's sustainability as well as survival.
